Leanne has over 25 years of experience in many areas of dietetic practice including weight management, diabetes and food intolerances with particular interest in gastrointestinal disorders (coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome) and eating disorders. Leanne has a real interest in Aged Care and is passionate about ensuring good nutrition for older Australians.
Leanne is also the Director of Brisbane Nutrtition Services.

Dr Peter Hansen - Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon

Dr. Peter Hansen is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon who specialises in both the treatment of arterial disease and also varicose vein surgery. He is a Visiting Consultant Specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
Dr Hansen's Private Practice has been based at The Wesley Hospital for over a decade. His main office is now on Wickham Terrace and he also visits The Wesley Hospital, Cleveland, Wishart and Hervey Bay for consultations.
Dr Hansen was born in Gladstone but has lived in Brisbane since age 5. He studied at The University of Queensland and completed his Vascular Specialist Training at both The Princess Alexandra and Royal Brisbane Hospitals. He also undertook 2 years of specialist surgical training in Victoria and in Edinburgh, UK.
This comprehensive experience encompasses all facets of modern Vascular practice from minimally-invasive ("key-hole") endovascular (balloon angioplasty and stent) techniques for the management of arterial, venous and aneurysmal disease, through to major open surgery for all vascular conditions.
